Five minutes from Woolacombe

This site is extremely well maintained, clean and tidy, bins emptied regularly, lovely play park for the children, friendly and helpful staff, excellent facilities for washing and showering etc. Although I can see the washing up-area would get busy when the site is full.

DH wasn't keen on the fact that the pitches were pre-marked and you weren't able to choose your own area on arrival but I didn't find it a problem.

The site was quite exposed to the elements in places however some of the pitches were more sheltered so do request that if desired.

The reason we chose this site was because of it's proximity to Woolacombe and it was a five minute drive away. The shop on site had ample basic items (milk, bread, butter, eggs, bacon etc.) and operated an ice-pack hire system - the prices were ok for a camp-site.

I thought the cost for 3 nights, 2 adults and 2 children was quite pricey but then I guess they have more overheads in terms of maintenance than some more basic sites.

I would definitely stay here again but would possibly try another one in the Woolacombe area first just to compare.

Fantastic Campsite

Our family spent a week camping at Warcombe Farm in July and we cannot recommend the site enough.

Aside from its location which is minutes from some of the best beaches, the campsite itself makes you relax the minute you arrive. It's beautifully done and the pitch sizes are generous.

We have 2 young children and the family shower rooms are the best we've had on any campsite and we are regular campers. No squashing into cubicles here!

The staff on the campsite give a warm and friendly welcome. I found all the staff to be extremely helpful and approachable, from time of booking right through our visit itself.

Perhaps the best I can say is that we already plan to visit again next summer.
