Kids, parents and dogs alike will love a camping and caravanning holiday here at Warcombe Farm, North Devon. The area is absolutely stunning with Woolacombe beach on your doorstep and picturesque coastal towns and villages within a short walk or even shorter drive.

Our pristine shower block with a family bathroom, is often at the fore of any guest review. It includes a baby changing facilities, with a touch of camping luxury - under floor heating. Often appreciated when trying to get the kids clean after a day out and about.

The large fenced children's play area goes down a treat and is a great spot to meet the other kids on holiday. Budding fishermen can try their luck with our on-site fishing lake. Warcombe Farm is a perfect place to go camping in Devon with the kids.

Second stay, but certainly not our last!

We have just arrived home from our second visit to Warcombe Farm. Our first was last September where, on our second day we had already decided that we would return for a whole week rather than just a short stay.

I have been camping all my life and can wholeheartedly say that the experience, facilities and hospitality are some of the best I have experienced!

This time we had family join us towards the end of our stay, who were greeted warmly and shown to the adjoining pitch to ours.

We will always recommend this campsite to friends and family and will be returning as soon as we can!

Thanks to all who made our stay so enjoyable!

Lovely, Tranquil site

This was mine and the wife's first camping trip together. I found the site on the Internet. Luckily a friend had stayed and said how Clean the site was so I decided to book. When trying to book on the Internet it didn't give the option for a tent, but rather a tourer. I can't remember how much it was stating but I thought it was reasonable for a week with electrics (they have several types of pitches with picnic benches, barbecues, storage etc. ) around £145 I think. Because of the website I decided to give them a call. The receptionist was so helpful, and advised for my tent for the week it would only be £100!!!!!! Wow. We even got to choose our own pitch (2 days before this got changed to one next door as the one we chose had been rained on and was muddy)

Anyway, after a very delayed 5 hour journey we arrived at the site at 5. 30pm on Saturday. We were last ones that day I think. We quickly checked in and was shown down to our pitch, stopping on the way to be shown WC's etc. really good and detailed so we knew exactly where we were.

The pitch itself was in a lovely little spot. All pitches had shrubs and trees around them making them very secluded, and peaceful. We quickly set up and decided to go shower and get something to eat. We used the family showers and must say we were so impressed!! Very very clean and tidy. Underfloor heating. You didn't mind walking around barefoot (which I remember when I was a kid was a no go when we went camping) I think there was sort of a mutual respect between everyone as at no time did we ever see any tissue or paper on the floor. People mopped up after themselves. It was just a generally very pleasant experience each time the toilets and shower rooms were used.

We were on plot 136, the only thing that we have said we will do different next time is to choose to a plot on the opposite end of the park as at around 5pm the sun was off the tent and it got a bit chilly very early.

We asked to feed the ducks one day and was told we could call them and they would come over. I never knew ducks come when called but they do here! (The fishing price for a day on their lake is very reasonable so be sure to check it out if you're into that)

The staff were always very polite and always said hello when they went past (even on their buggies)
All in all to was a very good stay for us, and for first time camping together (the wife had never been before) ensured that we will go again and again.

Thanks to all the staff for their hard work in maintaining this lovely place. They truly do a great job.

PS never make the mistake of thinking a coastal path is a path down to the beach. 4 hours later we returned to the tent after a nice hike. But the coastal path just outside the tent is beautiful, with picnic benches so definitely worth going there if you want a picnic.
