Clovelly a quaint fishing village

Clovelly is a beautiful quaint fishing village, privately owned and unchanged by time

We have camping or caravanning for nearly 25 years and only found this site about 2 months ago ... We have now stayed twice. The site is immaculate and beautifully laid out. The pitches are massive with a fantastic choice of pitch type.

All of the staff are so friendly and can not do enough to assist in any way they can. The Toilet and Shower blocks are second to none and always spotlessly clean. This site is definitely battling for the title of 'The best campsite we have EVER stayed at', perfect location, perfectly laid out, perfectly friendly and helpful staff. . . simply PERFECT. . . Later today I will booking again for July. . .

I'd totally echo earlier comments,

However if you plan on walking to Mortehoe avoiding the roads buy an OS map it is worth it.

It is fairly pricey, £30 a night isn't too far off Travel lodge money.

However, if it is family camping you want, then this is perfect with a variety of pitches from open plan to secluded 'cubby' holes (although large).

Attention to detail such as someone coming to the pitch and explaining things, workers constantly buzzing around fixing / cleaning / mowing the effort is evident.
