From the sea off Combesgate beach

Combesgate beach is a pretty secluded beach located at the far right-end side of Woolacombe offering some attractive rock pools - ideal for children. It is the first true sandy beach as you walk down from Mortehoe to Woolacombe along the coastal road.

Combesgate is one of the Marine Conservation Society recommended beaches,. Flat golden sands, rocks to either side, a gentle waterfall to the rear, hidden in a little cut out.

The best time to visit is between low and mid-tide, when activities can include swimming, surfing, building sandcastles and exploring the rock pools. Be aware that access to the beach itself is via a number of steep, but well maintained, steps. Combesgate is probably not be the best option for families with push chairs or those with mobility in mind.

I have just spent 3 nights here with my boyfriend. The staff are amazing and so is this campsite. I almost don't want to leave a great review as want to keep this little gem to myself. But if you are looking for a great RELAXING campsite that is spotless and well run then book in here.

If you are looking for a campsite with a clubhouse and lots of noise then book elsewhere.

This place is picturesque and calm and quiet. Just the sheep and cows in the background noise. The shower house has underfloor heating and it is modern and immaculately kept.

Well done Warcombe Farm Camping :)

Fabulous place to stay, friendly and welcoming

Stayed here 2 times this year once in June and August, lovely setting, great play park for kids and walks for dogs, fantastic family wet rooms and super clean compared to other sites we have stayed at. We highly recommend the staff and owners are so friendly and will do anything to make your stay a great one, looking forward to our next visit.
