Ilfracombe Fishing Excursions

Ilfracombe Fishing Excursions

There are several fishing charter boats in neighbouring Ilfracombe, offering summer mackerel fishing trips, wildlife excursions and deep wreck fishing along the North Devon coastline.

Many are a family run boats which have been run as a family business from Ilfracombe for generations. Where generations ago they would have worked inshore trawlers, in more recent years the families began sharing their knowledge of the local waters with others through the pleasure boat industry.

Ilfracombe sea fishing charters can offer everything from 2 hour inshore mackerel fishing trips to 4hr, 8hr or 10hr rough ground, or wreck fishing trips, usually with all fishing gear supplied. They have trips perfect for first time fishers, families, couple's or for the most seasoned of anglers!

Fishing out of Ilfracombe you can have access to a number of wrecks, fishing for Pollock, Cod, Ling, Bass and Conger. Away from the wrecks, fishing for Conger, Bass, Whiting and Dogfish.

Great site, lovely people, fantastic facilities

We have just had a 5 night break and definitely wish we had longer. We were there over the bank holiday, so thought it would be very busy (queueing for the showers etc) but it was fantastic, the site was almost full but it definitely didn't feel crowded.

The facilities are the best I have seen on any camp site, the play area is great. The whole site is well maintained and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

We will definitely be going back again as soon as possible.

Can't go wrong booking this campsite!

All the staff are very helpful and friendly. The campsite is clean, tidy and well organised. The shower blocks are excellent, like the underfloor heating!

We would especially like to thank Glynn for his assistance when setting up for fishing. This was our kids first time fishing and we ended up catching over 30 fish that day.

If you are thinking of coming to North Devon and want a lovely relaxing campsite, then this is the place for you.

Many thanks to all at Warcombe Farm!
