Sunsets over the Sea

Sunsets over the Sea

We enjoy stunning sunsets most days, and here with the sea as a backdrop and Lundy Island on the horizon.
Lundy means 'puffin' in Norse though these days puffins on the island are in decline, Lundy's wildlife still remains internationally important. In fact Lundy Island is Englands only marine nature reserve and remains the biggest seabird colony in the south of England.

1st time campers. Very impressed with site and facilities. Will definitely be back.

Have been to the site 2 years running and in the process of booking again for 2007. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else as the site has everything we need.

Last year my parents visited for a couple of days. They have been caravanning for over 30 years and thought the standard of the site was exceptional. Looking forward to the refurb of the other shower block as we tend to camp at the top of the site. Our 7 year old son loves the play area and we rarely see him in the evenings as he is off making friends.

Staff are all very very helpful and nothing is to much bother for them. Prices very competitive in comparison to other sites in the area and the facilities offered. It's a quick drive to the beach which is glorious come high tide or low with plenty of parking available. Only problem can be the weather but this is England and unfortunately that can't be guaranteed. At least you can be guaranteed of one thing though - a lovely site come rain or shine.
