The road from Mortehoe down to Woolacombe

There are a number of routes from Warcombe Farm down into Woolacombe, and all have that photogenic feeling in the warm summer sun.

Camping at Warcombe

This is our 4th trip to this site as always a warm and friendly welcome. Glynn always gives a warm and friendly smile. facilities spotless can't fault it :) the site is perfectly situated for visiting surrounding areas such as Woolacombe and others. Will be returning in the summer

Just returned. Week prior to Easter, very quiet. Bliss! and for this price per night inc the leccy! What has been said about the facilities here are just about right, top class, family shower room you would be proud to have in your own home. The facility block opposite from us though more crowded, with wc/wash facility. But again very clean and up together and very functional.

Weather was great, which helps but even so the place was very good. Walked through the large planted field and an abundance of birdlife, seen my/our first skylarks, and heard our first cuckoo of the year. Identifying map of planted trees on display at the field entrance for the tree minded peeps.

Several pubs in the nearby village of Mortehoe offering reasonable fayre and a larger one on the main road to Woolacombe [about 5 mins away] doing a reasonably priced and varied menu. Will return here again with no hesitation.
