The view from the Chapel overlooking Ilfracombe Harbour

St Nicholas Chapel, dating back to the 1320s is accessed by a sloping path, wheelchair access is possible, but both ascent and descent can be 'interesting'.

We booked our two night stay at Warcombe Farm over the phone with relatively short notice and we must say that despite this, we were dealt with in a very helpful and courteous manner.

Warcombe is well laid out and beautifully maintained, all of the facilities are great, especially the toilets and wonderful showers.

In all, the site more than suited us although but ... (our preference) we wouldn’t like to be there at peak season for no other reason than the tranquillity and peace would be shattered.

Would we return? Probably not as we've been there, done that. This is no reflection on Warcombe - it is a beautiful site.

We stayed for the first time over the bank holiday weekend as our usual site was full, and are now converted to Warcombe Farm, the pitches were large and well kept, the toilet blocks were immaculate and the staff friendly and helpful. the children had a fantastic time fishing on the well stocked lake and didn't fail to catch the fish. I will most definitely be returning again and again.
