We provide a great dog exercise area in our Woodland

Many families want to bring their pets on holiday. Here at Warcombe we welcome dogs and their responsible owners. We provide a great dog exercise area in our Woodland. You can access the coastal footpaths which lead to local beaches and the village of Mortehoe where most of the pubs are dog friendly.

This site is excellent.

We had rain almost every day and the site was becoming a muddy skidpan but they did come and sprinkle sawdust on the mud if asked and towed us off the pitch so they did their best. The play area is one of the best we've seen and the bathrooms are amazing!- underfloor heating and large sensor operated showers - it was posher than at home!

There are some lovely pitches set amongst trees further down the site - we were in a row on a field which was disappointing but that was because I'd booked a 'super-pitch'.There was one night that was so windy the caravan rocked and shook all night which terrified me but the view from our caravan was amazing - we could see the lights on the Swansea coast. There were 3 washing machines and 4 tumble dryers which was really helpful, and all the facilities were spotless.

It's worth remembering that any pitch is only as good as your neighbours - we had a family with 3 members that coughed unbelievably heartily 24/7 and who let their toddler cry and scream at half past 2 or 6 in the mornings. We can laugh now but it wasn't the dawn chorus we were looking for!

Overall a site that scores 98% with us - we would love to go back but it's taken us nearly 8 hours to get back to Brighton!

This is a great site! This was our first camping trip as a family although we camped as children. We both think that this site may have spoilt us as we will probably now compare all other sites to this one.

The Toilets and Showers were out of this world and better than some Hotels Iíve stayed in. The site is well maintained and the planting on the site gave a lot of privacy.

The Childrenís Play Area was brilliant for my 5 Year old. A lot of campers had Dogs and this looked like a great place for Dogs as they had the big field at the back for walks etc.

The Washing up facilities and Food Preparation area were great and I noticed they had loads of washing machines and tumble dryers there if you needed them. My husband took my son into the family room for a shower and said that it had a lovely bath, shower and toilet in one room which was great for smaller children. I previously used one of the disabled showers in the Ladies as it was 6. 30am and no one was around with my Son and that was very spacious. There was also another separate room for disabled by the family room.

The Ďon-lineí internet booking was really good. The only criticism is that they were still letting people pitch at nearly 11pm on the Friday night (it was May Day Bank Holiday weekend!) They say in their brochure that they wont let people pitch after 10pm. This kept us awake for a while, but didnít spoil our holiday and Iím already planning another trip there next month.

There was a very nice pub with good food which you pass to get to the camp. The Beach was only a few minutes drive away which was great for my 5 year old. Herrenvolk
