Wonderful sea views from your pitch

Wonderful sea views from your pitch

You'll find time to stop and stare all through the day.

Serviced Sea View pitches found at the bottom of our site, overlooking the gorgeous North Devon coastline and the Bristol Channel.

We had a lovely pitch with sea views and plenty of privacy (worth paying a little extra to be off the main avenues) and only a shortish walk to the excellent immaculate facilities.

A couple of shower blocks which are a long way from the far end of the site where we stayed but the sea views make up for it.

Beautiful secluded spot with sea views, the best toilets and showers I have ever seen on a campsite, lovely quiet site and lovely friendly staff, can't wait to come back.

The site offers a variety of pitches for all budgets and the views are spectacular whether you choose, sea views, countryside or lake you will not be disappointed.

Great for children

Very nice camp site. The excellent facilities can be a few minutes walk depending on where you pitch as it is a large site, but you can always drive there if you are totally bone idle.

The site staff are very friendly and helpful. It is quite exposed to wind being on the coast line but there are plenty of sheltered pitches for tents, many with service hook ups if required.

Great for children with an excellent play area and lovely fishing / duck pool in the middle of the site all set in beautiful country side.

A major plus point is that there is no club house to ruin the peaceful surroundings.

Would thoroughly recommend this site as a base to explore North Devon. I doubt you will find a better all round site than this.

Taylor Tribe

One of the best campsites

First visit to this site and it is one of the best sites we have been to.

The toilets and shower facilities are excellent.

There is a lake on site with lots of small fish in, you can catch one every cast if you use smaller baits, The bigger fish are a bit harder to catch and like to dive straight into the weeds when you hook them.

The shop stocks basic supplies only.

The site has Wifi access anywhere on site, so for a reasonable charge you can connect to the internet.

The dog walk at the back of the site has been planted with 1200 trees and covers 15 acres.

If you walk straight through this area and continue down the lane you will end up at Lee Cove which is stunning and unspoilt. The walk takes about 35 minutes and is down some steep slopes so beware as it is even more tiring walking back.

The site is on top of a hill so on a misty day you are in the clouds,

Really you need a car to get to the beaches as the roads leading to them have steep inclines and no footpaths. Though there are regular buses in the summer, with busses stopping right outside the campsite.

The site is about 10 mins drive from Ilfracombe,

5 Mins from Woolacombe and 25 minutes from Croyde.

We certainly would visit this site again
