Perfect Summer Holiday
A wonderful British summer holiday. The campsite is beautiful with great facilities and wonderful staff. Huge thanks to Glynn for great advice and suggestions of local must do's and being so kind to the children. Go stay!
Warcombe Farm Camping Park:
Many have commented on our lovely warden Glyn who has given up so much of his time helping customers with the fishing. Lots of children have had their first fishing experience at Warcombe under his watchful eye! Look forward to seeing you here soon!
Fantastic Camp/Caravan Site
I have just spent 9 days at Warcombe Farm with my husband and son, as well as some family, friends and their 4 dogs. Reading the other reviews left this summer I can not say much more. It is the best site we have stayed on during our 8 years for touring.
The pitches are well spaced out and in first class condition. We thought that as the site is large we might have trouble with noise, but we had no problems at all during our stay, also with so many showers/toilets we never had to wait. The facilities were always very clean.
The shop is very well stocked as well as the information they have on things to do around the North Devon area. They have a good recycling system in place. Most nights a catering van comes to serve different take away food. Lots of washing machines/dryers to use, again I never had to wait.
My husband is a keen fisherman and was very impressed with the lake, It is very well stocked with a good variety of fish. Glynn one of the warden is very helpful and will also give lessons and advice on fishing. They have fishing equipment that can also be hired out.
The dog walk is great, lots of space for them to run around off lead, great walks and cycle paths from the site as well as local buses. The play area for the kids is fantastic.
I would recommend this site to anyone. The staff are very helpful and always on hand to help. We will be coming back and will recommend the site to friends.
A BIG thank you to all the staff who work on the site, they work very hard to keep the site in the condition it is in.
See you very soon.
Fantastic staff and site!
We have just returned from our 4th visit to Warcombe Farm, it won't be our last...
Lovely site, very clean and well maintained. Showers are amazing! So is the underfloor heating! Family shower rooms are fab, made life so much easier...
Staff are really friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Happy to help and provide local knowledge to make the most of the holiday...
All pitches are of a good size, and are well maintained.
Shop has everything you could ask for, always freshly baked cakes (all of which were delicious!)
Highly recommend this site! The Townsend's
Changed my view on camping-Fabulous!
We have just returned from a week long stay at this amazing site.
We had an eleven hour journey to get there so hoped the drive would be worthwhile - it definitely was.
On arrival we were shown to our pitch by Glynn. He showed us round the site explaining where everything was. Our pitch was so big that our electric hookup didn't reach, Glynn took us to the site shop and helped us with another hookup and then came back to our pitch to ensure we got up and running. So helpful and much appreciated.
The pitch was fantastic with gorgeous views and was situated next to the dog walking area. This was just lovely and had open areas with picnic tables.
The shower and toilet facilities were faultless, spotlessly clean and warm. The top block had family shower rooms which were even better. There was always plenty of hot water and no queues.
The site shop was well stocked and reasonably priced.
The location of the site is perfect with plenty to see within a short distance drive or walk. The beaches were beautiful with lots of lovely cafes.
This was a brilliant holiday, friendly helpful staff, fab pitch, great site and perfect location. Can't wait to see you again.

Two weeks wasn't long enough!
We have just returned from two weeks at this incredible camp site. It is probably easy to start the review at the start of our holiday. We arrived and checked in at the reception where we were met by very friendly organised and knowledgeable staff who checked us in efficiently and speedily. We were then directed to Dave (really nice bloke) who guided us to our pitch and gave us a run down of the site.
The pitch was, as all the pitches are a great size and incredibly well kept and maintained. The toilet blocks are immaculate and have brilliant family rooms available. There are great little touches in the shower block that make life that little bit easier. Plenty of shelves for all your clothes and toiletries as well as a stool and showers set just at the right temperature.
On most nights there is different high quality food available on site ranging from stone baked pizzas to fish and chips and a sea food van. We found this food excellent and good value for money.
There is a shop on site that sells delicious fresh bread and pastries each morning and also is well stocked and has everything that you need at reasonable prices.
There are lots of nice touches throughout the site that have clearly been well thought out. These range from hand sanitizer at the chemical disposal to a herb garden that you can help yourself to.
All the staff are incredibly friendly and are all really keen to help and offer advice on the area.
The play ground and the fishing lake are excellent as is a nice stroll through the dog walking area towards Mortehoe.
We are planning to go back again next year and can not wait.
Positives: everything about the site.
Negatives: 2 weeks wasn't long enough.
Many thanks Christine and all the team for a brilliant holiday on your beautiful site.

Have been to Warcombe several times over the last couple of years and love it. It is lovely and peaceful and we really feel like we've completely relaxed when we go home (although we are always sad to leave).
The shower rooms are 1st class. Always plenty of hot water and always clean.
The security is very important to them, so you feel very safe here. The staff are the friendliest we've ever had.
I have been to other campsites, which I have enjoyed, but they are not a patch on Warcombe.
Keep up the good work guys.
Best campsite yet
Our family have been camping for the last ten years in Devon and Cornwall. This site was a little more expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. The pitches and facilities were excellent. Staff are friendly and very helpful.
Although it is probably more expensive than many campsites (see tariffs on website), you get a brilliant campsite.
The pitches are in various sizes but spacious. We were based near the back where pitches were in small clusters and separated by shrubs/trees so not too close together unlike some other sites. The toilet, shower and dishwashing facilities are newish and unbelievably clean. Underfloor heating too! There are plenty, so no queues ever.
The layout is really good and lovely views from the site.
The shop stocks useful things and the staff are cheerful and helpful. Thank you to George too (pat on the back!), who helped us connect with connecting the gas to the camping cooker.
On one night there was a 'noisy' tent but they packed up early so were not there the next night so we did not bother complaining, they may have been asked to leave?
A great site! It will be difficult to be impressed by other sites after this one!
Warcombe Farm Camping Park:
Thank you Malc and Cathryn for your review. Great to hear you had a good time. The noisy campers who caused a disturbance were asked to leave to preserve the peace and safety of others. We are not the cheapest campsite, but we do try and deliver the very best service to our most valued customers like yourselves. Hope to see you here again in the near future.

'If Carlsberg did campsites'
Our second year at Warcombe farm campsite, One word sums it up Excellent.
Large pitches, ones near lake are brilliant, we took our touring van and had pitch 93 near lake.
The fishing is brilliant, the staff never stop, the facilities put many hotels to shame.
It has an atmosphere that allows you to chill.
The dog loves the awesome dog walk with stunning views.
We will be back next year, I have an 11 hour journey to get there but it is worth every minute and mile.
Best campsite by a country mile.
Lovely family camping trip
We have just returned from this campsite with our four children. We had a lovely time despite the wintery feeling weather!
The campsite and facilities were probably the cleanest I have ever been to. The main shower block was very modern with large cubicles and plenty of showers. Despite it being the peak holiday season we never had to queue.
There are some lovely walks from the back of the campsite and most evenings food vans visit the site offering dishes such as fresh pizza cooked to order, fish and chips etc. There is a small shop selling all the essentials.
The one thing we really noticed though is just how friendly the staff are compared to other sites we have visited, even the men going round emptying bins and cleaning always seemed to be happy.
We would definitely visit again as it's a lovely friendly family site in a great location.
Great family campsite!
This is a great family camp site!
Varied pitches for caravans, tents and campers from open areas to secluded corners.
Excellent wash room facilities with great family shower rooms, lots of hot water and good showers.
Play area a great meeting place for the kids, my daughter made many friends.
Lovely walks direct from site taking you through fields, woods and coast path.
Direct bus service from site entrance to Mortehoe and Woolacombe.
I liked this campsite as did not have a club house and the site was quiet by 9-10pm.
Good site shop for those essentials.
All the wardens were very friendly and helpful, always prepared to chat and impart local knowledge.
Glyn, site warden, top bloke!
Fantastic site and staff.
This was our first visit and we were not disappointed. Generous size pitches, clean site and spotless high quality showers/toilets. The staff were friendly and helpful especially Glyn whom stayed after work for about 40 mins to teach my husband and daughter to fish. We will be returning.
Just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay with our 5 children. What an amazing campsite our pitch 129 was very private and huge and our trailer tent looked lost on there. Very well maintained grounds always staff about emptying bins very clean. Toilets also very clean and showers very warm.
Staff are welcoming and very friendly. My children loved fishing and caught plenty. Lots of washing machines and dryers and we never had to queue to wash up.
My eldest son is autistic and it was lovely that he could have the freedom to walk to the toilets and playground like any other child and us not have to worry.
We have booked again for next year and can not wait to return.
Thank you Warcombe farm for helping us create some wonderful memories.
We are regular visitors to this site and always have nothing but praise for it. The staff are always friendly the site is kept immaculate and the the toilet blocks are 5 star hotel quality.
If ever I owned a campsite it would be like this. We will continue to return.
We have just returned from a week long stay in our tent at this wonderful campsite. We stayed here for the first time last year and enjoyed so much about the site and the area that we decided to return again this year.
There is a good variety of pitches here so there is something to suit everyone, although if you haven't been before we found the staff to be very helpful on the phone on choosing a pitch.
The showers and toilet facilities are very spacious and are kept very clean and tidy and the majority of guests help them to stay that way. The only small disappointment was that there were no electric sockets for hair appliances in the shower block (although there are travel size hair-dryers 20p).
The bin areas are regularly emptied so we didn't encounter any problems with wasps etc. The small but well stocked shop sells fresh baked goods every day (which were very tempting) as well as other groceries.
The campsite is in a great location for some lovely walks and is less than a mile away from the traffic free Tarka cycling trail as well as the huge sandy beach at Woolacombe.
There are some visiting food sellers on different nights too which we made use of. Having waited over an hour and a half for our order the pizzas were OK, however the fish and chips were really good.
Overall the site is very clean and well kept, very friendly, helpful staff who clearly all work very hard and we would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. Keep up the great work!
