First Class Site and Service
Just returned from our first visit to this campsite and cannot fault it. Friendly staff always willing to offer advice on just about anything you care to ask.
LIKES: Coded barrier entrance and exit, clean landscaped site, quiet site after 10pm, excellent toilet/showers/washing/food prep/chemical disposal/bins etc all kept clean and tidy and serviced regularly. Even had hand sanitizer in the chemical disposal point - nice touch! Great dog walk which extends to various footpaths connecting to SW coastal path. Had a go a fishing in the beautiful lake (£9.50 for the day and no license required) and caught around 20 fish - kids loved the experience. Food vans (stone-baked pizza, fish and chips, seafood etc) arrived each night to give an alternative to cooking and reasonably priced.
DISLIKES: I am being really picky here, but the road approaching the campsite is a little narrow considering the amount of caravans, campervans using it - as well as the buses serving the nearby holiday parks. It. could be widened easily, but its only about 1 mile to the main roads and there are plenty of passing points.
We met with many fellow campers who told us they had been going here for years. Hope to go back next year but probably need to book early. Recommend this camping park for families and couples.
Warcombe Farm Camping Park:
Thank you for such a great review Andrew - I will make sure our hard working staff see your kind words. We strive to provide an excellent holiday experience for our valued customers. You mentioned the access road to the park - as you know hundreds of caravans and large motorhomes go up and down the road to access both Warcombe and other parks - as you mention there are lots of passing places and there are rarely any problems as long as everyone takes care. In areas of outstanding Natural beauty there is huge opposition to changing our small roads and lanes - that is why Devon is so unspoilt.
It's great to hear how much you enjoyed the lake and the fishing. Many children have learned to fish here and we hope that you and your family will enjoy many more holidays here at Warcombe.
Every bit as good as it sounds!
I can't imagine anyone coming here and not loving it. The staff seem to take pride in their work and the place is maintained beautifully, so that it feels quaint, intimate and not at all commercial or tacky, but is still incredibly popular, well-equipped and suitable for all.
Where so many campsite shops would overcharge, because they know the demand is there for necessities, everything in this one is honestly priced. It's a small detail which restores your faith in humanity. We were very very impressed and have already been telling all our friends.
Best campsite ever
I've been camping more or less every year since I was about 7 and this has to be the best campsite I've been to and I feel that the website doesn't do it justice.
It's clean and tidy, the pitches are really big. We stayed on a electric pitch which had hedges around the back and the sides which gave us privacy which was nice, you can rent picnic benches out for £2. 50 a night which is a great idea.
The toilets and showers are brilliant, always clean. The family wet rooms have under floor heating and the shower itself is great, better than some hotels we've been in so definitely not expected from a campsite.
The staff are very friendly and the on site shop is very well priced and has all the basics you would need. It's only a 5 minute drive to Woolacombe if there's anything else you need. We loved the 'pop-up restaurant' from 'Stoned Pizza' who made fresh stoned baked pizza's on the campsite on a Sunday and Thursday, they were to die for and very well priced. On a Tuesday they had a seafood van delivering fresh seafood in foil bags ready to pop on the barbecue which was another great idea.
You can also order bread to be collected at 9am for breakfast, this included croissants, bread rolls, scones etc, again very well priced. The top of the hill where the shop is has lovely sea views along with a kids play area (This closes at dusk so there's no noise when you want peace and quiet)
Wi-Fi is available for a fee, we paid £12 for 7 days, usually Wi-Fi on campsites is awful and you never get your moneys worth - not here! Signal is great and we didn't have any problems.
We will definitely be back here again, thanks for an amazing stay.
Yet again, a fantastic stay.
Just got back from another lovely stay. This is such a fantastic site. Very clean and tidy and good size pitches. Everyone is very helpful.
We have been to nearly all the campsites in Woolacombe and this is the best by far. Our doggie loves it as well. They have the best dog walking field I have ever come across.
There are Lots of lovely walks from the campsite, about 45 min walk to the beach and a couple of nice pubs near.
We can't wait to go back again.
Carp, Carp, Carp
Yes the fishing was good, 7 day ticket very good deal, the staff too. All thanks for your kindness, helpfulness, good humour, excellent Loos, nice dog walk although, just a tad too far for us as wife disabled etc, perhaps an official area slightly nearer the main entrance, but not to impart any criticism.
Sea food van nice touch, excellent and roomy, clean, fully service pitch right by the lakeside, very quiet, hopefully we will be back in September
Keep up the good work guys, thanks once again

Warcombe Farm Camping Park:
Thank you Colin and Jenny for your kind review - we are so pleased you had a great time. When you book again just call us and we can get a pitch with easier access to the amenity block to make things easier. We look forward to welcoming you back to our park hopefully in September!

Gotta love camping
Cannot say anything bad
- Both toilet and shower blocks very clean
- Plots nice and roomy
- Stoned Pizzas were nice
- Enjoyed my early morning walks to Mortehoe via Mortehoe Station Road and Woolacombe via Sandy Lane
- We also walked the coastal path into Ilfracombe and Woolacombe
- There was a bit of unkind weather but got the tent up and down in the dry so no biggy
Warcombe Farm Camping Park:
We are so glad you had a great stay at Warcombe - thank you very much for passing on your positive thoughts. The coastal walks are really lovely - glad you made the most of your stay here.
We hope you will be back again soon.
This was our first camping experience as a family and I am so glad I chose this camp site to stay at, we were given a secluded patch to put our tent on (as requested) it was a great size and surrounded by trees (although this wasn't great in the evening if you want the sun, but that was a lesson learnt, to ask for a spot that gets sun in the evenings.)
It is so well looked after with very friendly staff, we stayed during the week and it was lovely and quiet but obviously got busier on the Friday night.
The Site, toilets and showers were very clean and had great family rooms.
The only problem I had was the showers, not being able to set the temperature yourself and having to either push a button or wave you hand in front of the sensor every few seconds, that was annoying and with little ones you need to be able to set the temperature of the shower.
Another toilet block at the top of the site would be good too, for those that are further away so you don't have to walk so far at night.
Its lovely and close just a 2 min drive down to the town and beach, wonderful beach close by, with the best fish and chips we have ever had at Fryers, and great ice cream and fudge plus sandwiches at Fudgies.
Over all a lovely place that I will be recommending to friends and family and look forward to using again soon!
Fantastically well looked after grounds and very friendly and helpful staff. Shower and wash facilities were clean and spacious. Site is a bit out on its own, but a local taxi gets you to either Woolacombe or Mortehoe quickly and easily enough.
Outstanding touring site - simply the best
We chose this site after becoming disillusioned with our chosen site for the last 19 years in Cornwall. With the help of trip advisors superb recommendations we set off for our 2 week annual break.
Wow we were not disappointed.
From the ease of booking from a well thought out web site, the welcome upon arrival from Gloria and the guide to the pitch we had requested it was the perfect start - could it get better - it did. The toilet blocks would be a credit in any 5 star hotel, the pitch was perfectly level, with quality hook up and water / waste facilities and never once did we have any drainage issues and we did have a few torrential down pours.
The lake is well looked after by Glynn and has plenty of fish for all from little tiddlers to good sized mirror and common carp - we pulled out plenty of low doubles with 14lb our best but did witness one slightly bigger. Glynn is the perfect camp help, whether for fishing tips, where to go in the area, where to eat out or just really friendly face for a chat.
We did have a little challenge with Julie on who could catch on the most bizarre bait - think we lost that one. Yes marshmallows worked, but so did many of the other cocktail treats she offered. Still think she won ' smallest' fish of the holiday as well.
This site excelled all our expectations and we are not easy to pleased and would thoroughly recommend this site to anyone looking for an outstanding experience when holidaying in North Devon.
Big thank you to you all and are already looking forward to our next holidays at Warcombe farm and hope to catch up with Glynn, Gloria and Julie next time.

The best camping experience ever!!
We have been coming to Warcombe Farm for 10 years or more. It is the best caravan and camping site by a long way. It is clean, tidy and the showers are the best that you will ever see. Friendly helpful staff finish off a wonderful holiday experience. We will return year after year without fail.
Our week at Warcombe Farm
What a great camp site!!! Recently stayed at Warcombe again and had a fantastic holiday. Glyn was a great help throughout and especially with his fishing tips 'marshmallows ssssh don't tell anyone'.
The site was in perfect condition, clean and well kept. The shower and toilet block kept to a very high standard will be back next year!

6 Star Campsite
Very beautiful camp-site where everything runs smoothly. Facilities are top class, toilet blocks are clean and there is plenty of room. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Shop at reception offers essentials like bacon, eggs, milk, beer, sparkling wine, postcards and small bags of washing powder.
Fishing lake in the middle is great. There variety of pitches to choose, whether you prefer to be near others, near by the lake or seek more your own peace.
You can see that the grounds are well taken care off and the lovely flowers crown the landscape.
With a good weather the view over the Bristol Channel is magnificent. Wood lane dog walking area at the rear of the campsite offers wonderful opportunity for an morning jog or nice evening walk in sunset. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!
What a great camp site!!!
Recently stayed at Warcombe again and had a fantastic holiday. Right from the vet off the staff had a chance to impress and did so. Glyn was a great help throughout and especially helpful with getting my caravan into position.
The site was in perfect condition, clean and well kept. The toilet block was a pleasure to use.
All in all very close to perfection. Highly recommended.
Very friendly check-in. Stayed here with several friends for long weekend. Very impressed with quality of site, everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained.
Fishing lake was marvellous and almost too easy to catch variety of fish. Only slight negative is the swarms of evil blackbirds/ravens that terrorise the site. Any food left unattended is attacked by these flying vermin but the staff do clean up any mess immediately. As it is less than an hour's drive from home, we intend to visit regularly.
First class experience
Have just returned from a long weekend at Warcombe Farm. I haven't been camping for quite some time, preferring a few more 'home comforts' these days, but friends persuaded me it would be a good idea... However, I couldn't have been happier with the whole experience.
My friends and I chose to book one of the Premier pitches by the lake, which gives you your own water supply alongside electric hook-up, gravel parking, BBQ stand and lovely picnic bench. The pitch size is very generous and there was ample room, even though we had quite a large tent. The shower/toilet block are exceptionally well maintained and the under-floor hearing certainly helped sell the idea of camping again.
The welcome we received was extremely warm and welcoming, but the service didn't end there and the staff certainly went over and above in all our contact with them. Glynn and Dave have to a specific mention!
For those of you with canine companions, you couldn't be better catered for. The beautiful 14 acres they have set aside for dog walking and nature reserve is an absolute credit to Warcombe Farm.
Overall a fabulous stay (albeit short) and I will definitely be back.
