My family and I stayed here for our 1st time over the August Bank Holiday, from first impressions to the point we packed up and left .. we thoroughly enjoyed it. The lay-out of the whole camp site works, the staff are welcoming and professional, the main facility block was immaculate, the dog walk/conservation fields were relaxing, scenic and educational for my girls.
From our pitch we had stunning views of the rolling Devon countryside and the Sea, which was amazing to sit and stare at whilst having breakfast and evening meals.
Our pitch also had its own water supply, bike racks, BBQ stand, Picnic bench and lighted electric point and was of a good size - all of which made things that little bit easier and much more enjoyable.
The camp site is perfectly located with easy access to the Stunning Mortehoe and Woolacombe bay.
I would recommend this warm and welcoming site whole heartedly!!!
Would highly recommend this site to anybody. A nice clean site with great facilities and a great area for dog walking. Would definitely book this place again.
Stayed for long weekend last week, had a great time, camp site facilities excellent, very clean and tidy, toilet/shower facilities excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking again very soon for summer. I would give Warcombe farm 10/10 rating.
What a great site this is pitches are massive and lots of screening for a bit of privacy. Toilet and showers were the best we have seen and the woodland walking area is a really nice place for an evening stroll. To top it all there are lots of geocaching trails straight from the park. Thanks for a smashing time.
Mr and Mrs Newman
We visited this site this last weekend.
Extremely impressed with the toilet block - we've visited quite a few 'top end' sites and have never seen such a fantastic clean heated block with free hot showers. It would shame a posh London hotel.
The site itself is close to a number of excellent (and not too grockly) beaches - it is clean, well spaced and the caravans look down on a very attractive lake, with the sea in the background.
We found it amazing to be charged only £16 per night.
What a great site. Lovely pitches hidden within a luxurious foliage of trees and shrubs with or without electric hook ups. New playground for the children and wonderful lake where we caught 12 fish with just sweetcorn for bait!
The crowning glory was the brand new toilet block, which was absolutely fabulous. We have never come across anything like it in all our years camping. There must have been 15-20 showers just in the ladies and they were really clean with built in shelving for clothing and odds and ends. Was also pretty cosy in there due to the under floor heating. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and have already made plans to return again in August.
A marvellous time
Just got back. What a great site. The shower block is a good as it gets.
The tent pitches are spaced and landscaped to give a really nice atmosphere. The staff were really welcoming and helpful and it does have a great family atmosphere.
It is very likely we will go again.
How good was it?
Well we went for the first time with out 2 year old and had lousy weather, plus a tent we had never used before and yet had a marvellous time. Well worth a visit!
First time camping ..
.. with the family and could not have wished for a better start. The site is very clean and well maintained with super shower and toilet facilities.
Easy to get to and find. Staff were very friendly. Price is excellent, and serviced pitches available.
All in all an excellent start to our 'camping holidays', and a site we will definitely be revisiting.
First Time Campers
They've invested some serious money into this site, and it definitely shows.
Very clean, fantastic wash room facilities and really friendly.
We were there during that really, really windy, stormy, rainy week in early July (thanks to the on-site warden for helping out with anchoring and restructuring a now half-dome tent!) - the site is pretty exposed, but get to the bottom of the field and seek shelter in some of the tucked-away parts.
Great for kids, plenty of room to run around etc. Excellent location for the beaches of North Devon - recommended.
Shower block fantastic
We spent a week at Warcombe farm and had a fantastic time.
Our pitch was at the bottom of the site, surrounded by trees and shrubs giving plenty of privacy. The shop was well stocked with a calor gas refill being half the price we paid for one at outdoor action!!!
Shower block fantastic, although we were at the far end of the site neither us or the 2 small children felt the need to travel to them in the car!, a few people did.
Would definitely go back. Prices reasonable too.
Good site, very reasonably priced too. The new shower block is amazing although they could do with an extractor fan as it got extremely hot and steamy.
We stayed when the weather was very bad and the site did get quite water logged and muddy where everyone drove to and from the toilets. The first half of the site is very exposed to the weather and has a great view, past the lake there are some trees and bushes to shelter you.
It's very close the to both Mortehoe and Woolacombe beach.
We will be going back again next year we had a great time despite the bad weather.
What a great campsite!
Situated near Ilfracombe and close to Woolacombe. There's a bit of a trek if you stay in some parts of the camping / tent field, but it's worth it when you see the views at the top!
Super deluxe shower block with heated floor and ample room for everyone! Fishing pond was great, lots of beautifully kept fish.
The views were fantastic and the staff were really friendly.
Shame the campsite wasn't nearer to the town centre (Woolacombe / Ilfracombe) as I don't think you could walk to either, but there was a bus route which was quite good. You more or less have to drive everywhere and the nearest supermarket is in Ilfracombe but the shop on site which sells the basics (lots of beer and wine.. always a bonus!)
There was a man who sold fish in an old ice-cream truck, great if you were barbecuing!
Would go again!

Had a really good stay during really bad weather. Everyone who works on site is very friendly and seem to enjoy what they do. A few problems with pitch allocation but these were put right with the minimum of fuss and in a good humoured way.
The toilet and shower block are excellent and they really have listened to what you need in campsite facilities - under floor heating if only just to stand and warm up your feet. As one of our campers said 'Carlsberg don't make campsite showers but if they did they'd be like these'
This is how a camping site should be - simple enough to sit and enjoy the outdoors with out club houses and enforced entertainment, and with the quality facilities you need. It is a good base for the touring area and we'd all go there again.
Great site with good clean facilities.
The views across the bay to Lundy island are lovely. Nice walks near by - Mortehoe excellent pubs and fish and chip shop. Good things to do near by and beaches too.
Would recommend this campsite and would go again.
Mostly level, good mix of hookup and standard. Sizes were good (we have a Vango 800 DLX) and well marked. Some pitches amongst small trees and bushes but there is competition for these!
Friendly, helpful and always around doing something – cleaning, mowing etc etc.
A small fishing lake sits in the middle of the site and was popular with anglers.
Absolutely the best hot showers I have ever come across. Very, very good washing, toilet, and washing up facilities.
The shop is on the small side and can quickly run out of essentials like bacon and eggs so go prepared.
The café looked ok but we didn’t use it.
Good, new and well maintained play area, laid with bark, fenced and situated in the middle of the site. Walks are excellent so there is loads of space to run. This site is obviously popular with families and so there is no shortage of playmates.
This is the best site that I have stayed on in the UK. It’s situated in some beautiful countryside with great access to a lot of places. Walks from the site are good – one especially takes you down through fantastic woods to a small rocky beach with nice hotel and restaurant.
We were there with our 2 boys (3&6) and we would very definitely go back. There is no pool, no club etc etc and it is all the better for it. Book early – it was full when we arrived.
On the whole this is top of my SouthWest UK camp site list at the moment.
