We have just returned from our fourth holiday at Warcombe and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The site is great for families and the play area is safe.
The staff are really helpful and friendly, especially Glynn who was great with the kids, and had fantastic advice about local beaches, things to do, and how to pull the biggest fish out of the on-site fishing lake.
There is loads to do with young families in the local area and if you want a summer holiday in the UK this is a great base.
WOW, My 1st camping experience, never before have I been so nervous. Well My nerves were calmed the minute we arrived. It's beautiful. The staff were really friendly. They said it wasn't that busy so they had given us pitch 148, but if there was another we preferred, we could set up there and just let them know. Ok so it started to rain the minute we pitched up but that didn't dampen my spirits.
The very first thing I did was check out the toilets, my husband thought I was mad but he's a regular camper and didn't understand the importance. The bathrooms were lovely I've stayed in five star accommodation in Mexico and they could not compare to the facilities in Warcombe Farm. I especially loved the family bathrooms.
Laundry room was great didn't really use it as just myself and husband.
Country walk was lovely and local pubs were again brill. No complaints from us.
Very picturesque setting, would recommend it to anyone that has never been camping before, eases you in to the process.
