Glad To See Glyn Again Whoop Whoop
We have again enjoyed another bank holiday week at this glorious site. Fantastic to see Glyn again, as helpful as usual and great with the kids. Everyone else was great, the site clean as always and a beautiful array of flowers. Thanks guys and Glyn especially x
I'd really recommend this campsite. The facilities were 1st class - superbly clean bathrooms with underfloor heating. The best showers I've used whilst camping and the family bathroom with bath was great for our little one who won't go under the shower!
Although this is a large campsite the pitches have been thoughtfully created, we were lucky to have a single pitch surrounded by trees and birds. Some of the pitches have sea views and the play ground and lake were a hit for us. We'd definitely go back again.
A lovely find
Recently stayed here for bank holiday, the place was one of the best sites we have stayed, it was absolutely spotless. Toilets, showers, laundry room, all excellent.
The pitch we had for our motor home was a very good size with both electric and water. We were even given a few tips from Glynn the guy who runs the site, a very nice and helpful gent will most definitely be back.
Camping at Warcombe
This is our 4th trip to this site as always a warm and friendly welcome. Glynn always gives a warm and friendly smile. facilities spotless can't fault it :) the site is perfectly situated for visiting surrounding areas such as Woolacombe and others. Will be returning in the summer
Superb Site and helpful staff
Stayed for a week on site in our Fifth Wheel mid April. Excellent site facilities, clean and spacious.
The Warden and staff made us very welcome and were extremely helpful especially when we were trying to put up our awning for the first time! The site was quiet at this time which suited us.
Pitches are nicely spaced out, many surrounding the fishing lake. Recommend the walk from the site to join the South Coastal route. Easy access to Mortehoe and Woolacombe beach.
For off road easy cycling - not too far from Braunton, Barnstaple or Bideford where you can access the Tarka trail. We also enjoyed the golf at Saunton. With so much on offer and a lovely site we will definitely try and return.
Stayed at Warcombe Farm for the first time over Easter for a week. What can I say, what superb sized camping pitches, superbly clean facilities, excellent location being far enough away for privacy and quiet location, but close enough to walk to Woolacombe if you fancy a 20-30 minute walk.
Staff friendly and helpful and park facilities ample for the children to enjoy. Will definitely return as the site in our opinion ticks all the boxes for a relaxing family holiday.
What I would say, and this isn't anything to do with Warcombe Farm, if you intend to walk to Woolacombe, which is lovely and then get a taxi back, ask the driver to go the short way as we and friends paid between £5 and £10 for the same trip. Thought I'd mention this as this was a little disappointing although Warcombe Farm had nothing to do with this, it is a consideration.
In conclusion, considering we walked passed the more commercial sites, we were more than pleased and satisfied we booked Warcombe and will return more and more now we have found a excellent North Devon location. Thanks to all that made the site so clean and appealing.
Warcombe Farm Camping Park:
Dear Fraser P, thank you for taking the time to review our park. We welcome your kind feedback regarding our facilities and staff. With regard to the price of a taxi from Woolacombe back to site, we would always suggest that you agree a price before taking the journey. We do hope to see you again soon. You could call Ezee Cabs, based in Woolacombe, for a price before booking.
1 night stop en route to Cornwall
I stopped here in my van for the Good Friday night at Easter.
It was a flying visit hence only the one night and would of loved to of stayed a few more nights.
Due to the bad weather during the day and me wanting to go out in my van I was upgraded to a hard standing fully serviced pitch for no extra charge so I didn't get stuck when I wanted to go out. Although, I never saw anyone else getting stuck or any muddy puddles which could of caused problems.
I had a lovely view over the fishing pond and not too far from the toilets etc.
The toilets and washing up areas were very clean and nice and warm.
I did notice you could get Wi-Fi on the campsite but I didn't subscribe to it as I wasn't on the campsite long enough to feel the need to check my Facebook or twitter but at £5 for 24 hours I thought that was of decent value.
I managed to get an excellent nights sleep as the site was very quiet at night time.
I will definitely be stopping at Warcombe farm again as I'm down Woolacombe quite often.
Keep up the good work guys and I'll hopefully see you again soon
Camp site beyond our expectations
We have just returned from a short break at Warcombe Farm and loved it from the moment we set foot inside the gates!
Immediately we were welcomed by friendly staff who couldn't have been more helpful. We were spoilt for choice with the camping plots which were so well laid out with everything you needed.
The shower and toilet blocks with underfloor heating were like a 5 star hotel plus loo rolls - shows what we have experienced in the past in England! Misty our Golden Retriever loved the walks in the woodland too, loads of wildlife - we even spotted a deer!
Perfect for children as well with the well thought out adventure area plus the lake in the middle added another dimension. Special thanks to Glynn who delivered a picnic table to us and even ended up helping us set up the tent to make the most of the sunrise and sunset. Great base for visiting areas we had never been to before.
It has restored our love for camping in England and definitely be back. Perfect in every way.
Just returned from a fantastic weekend. Fantastic park with superb facilities. Family bathrooms were outstanding and so warm which was much needed on the chilly evenings. Super friendly staff, who were most helpful. Great location and already booked our return in August. Can't wait to come back.
Superb friendly site
We never stay at the same place twice - until we found Warcombe Farm Camping Park.
Four of us, two being small children, arrived a week before the summer rush period. We immediately fell in love with the site, and were placed close to the children's play area, which was excellent as we could keep an eye on our children whilst we had a glass of wine in the evening.
There is a lake at the bottom of our camping field but this is really well managed and we didn't once have any concerns for our small children.
The site is really well kept with a fantastic shower block. We never once queued for a shower, the water was always piping hot, and the block looked as if it had been cleaned just before we went in.
The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We loved the views but were limited by the typical British weather. Saying that, the area is lovely with lots to do in a short distance from the site.
We loved this site and returned the following year and had another lovely holiday.
A real gem of a site.
Fantastic, friendly, amazing views
The staff are extremely friendly, the site is very well maintained with lovely heated showers, especially the family rooms, there are amazing views out to sea. A fantastic holiday, been before and will go again
Lovely quiet site
We booked Warcombe for the week so my hubby could do some fishing. Unfortunately it was very windy so he couldn't cast out but the waterside location was lovely. The shower block was immaculate and the site very well kept. We would love to return in sunny weather!
We stayed here for one night in our motorhome, it was very quiet and peaceful, facilities were very clean, we took our dog, and there was a lovely dog walk on site. The walk to Woolacombe was quite steep, but worth it once you get there.
Tranquil site close to coast
First stay at this site. Only one night booked.
Arrived at mid-day, welcomed to site, even though this is definitely the quiet season.
The pitch we stayed on was a super pitch, all facilities. Plenty of space between pitches, feeling of peace.
Dog walk area massive. Our dog loved it, and we went from this area onto footpaths to find Mortehoe Nice walk, but not that easy. We continued the walk to Woolacombe and back via the very steep hill!
The warden did warn us about the hill, but you never quite believe them till you try and climb it.
The facilities were very good, warm, clean and spacious. Wifi coverage was very acceptable.
Will be returning, wished we have been able to stay a further night. Next time.
More than Just a Campsite
I've never left a review before, but feel the team at this campsite deserve one.
Despite high winds and a large number of broken poles trying to pitch, the staff (along with some fellow campers) couldn't have done any more to help us. Nothing was too much for Glyn and he applied his previous experience to try and help strengthen the broken poles and keep the tent in one piece during our stay.
Glyn was a great representation of the Warcombe team who just wanted to ensure we enjoyed our holiday which we truly did. Amazing site with so many different ventures locally which include walking, cycling or bus allowing the car to be parked up permanently.
We enjoyed it so much that for the first time ever, we have already booked to go back next year.
