Working as campsite wardens at Warcombe Farm Campsite, North Devon, with fantastic sea views from our caravan doorstep, what bliss! Family have visited this Easter, so on our day off we hit the coastal path via our excellent dog walking area, and headed into the beautiful village of Lee. Sunday lunch at the Grampus Inn, a smashing dog friendly pub. We ate in their beer garden, enjoying the sunshine.

Lee Bay Beach

Lee Bay can be either a short drive or a moderate to healthy walk from Warcombe Farm Camping and Caravan Park. The picture-postcard village of Lee itself straggles down the aptly named Fuchsia Valley to the sea below. It is a delightful place of old world cottages and a local pub, well known for craft ales and live music. The village shop is now housed within the Grampus pub too. The pretty bay itself is very rocky, seaweed strewn, with areas of sand offered as the tide goes out. Rock pools abound Designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with some breathtaking walks over the National Trust headland via Bull Point Lighthouse, Mortehoe and Woolacombe.
